People who are searching for anabolic steroids might have heard about the “blast and cruise” cycle protocol. You could hear about blasting and cruising from those who use steroids and on different steroid forums. Yeah, that’s right. It may sound strange, but there are those who never stop using anabolic steroids. If you have a lot of questions right now – that’s normal. I’m going to try to answer most of them here. I know what you’re probably thinking – using steroids non-stop is unhealthy. Yes, it is, but with blasting and cruising cycle protocol you can do it and reduce health risks.
- Well, with this protocol you’re running steroids year round without stopping. The blasting is the period you’re running the cycle. However, there’s the cruising period that changes it all.
What’s Cruising?
When you cruise, you’re using a moderate dosage of testosterone to maintain the testosterone levels in the higher-end range. Usually, that’s around 1,000 ng/dL.
We already know that during a cycle, Testosterone dosages are ranging from anywhere between 300 mg a week up to about 1,000 mg per week. However, when you’re cruising, you don’t want to get testosterone levels in your blood too high, as you need to when running a cycle. As said, you need to keep them within the normal range in the higher end.

What about Post Cycle Therapy?
The point of cruising is to allow your body to recover back. During this period, the liver enzymes, lipids, hormones, and cholesterol values (overall health) return back to a normal state. You don’t run steroids except for low Testosterone dosage simply to keep your T in the normal range. You can’t keep blasting because in a matter of months you’re going to suffer huge health issues. Might even lead to death. So, cruising is very important – it gets your testosterone levels back to normal and helps your body recover. Plus, it helps users maintain muscle mass during the blast.
But you may wonder: why would you do it? Why not simply go back to Post Cycle Therapy (PCT)?
First off, during serious blasting protocols, you may suppress your natural testosterone too much. While PCT would help recover some of it back, PCT won’t maintain T levels in the high-end range. Therefore, with PCT plans you have a much higher risk of losing more gains made during blasting/cycling.

Cycle and Post Cycle Therapy (PCT), however, is not an option at all for those who naturally have low testosterone levels. Low T levels in men might be a result of many different reasons: using steroids for too long and/or in too high dosages, some specific health conditions, aging, and others. Regardless of the reason, if you have low T levels naturally, cycle and PCT isn’t a good option. PCT only helps recover back the levels pre-cycle. Won’t help increase natural T levels.
That’s why such people usually blast and cruise. Commonly, they are in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) plan, then blasting (cycling), and then returning back to TRT/cruising.
Blast and Cruise Cycle Protocol
As you can guess, there are a lot of different blasting and cruising cycle protocols. They can be very different from one another. While the cruising is similar with only very slight differences in dosages from one person to another, blasting is different. There are a variety of different anabolic steroids in different dosages and for different periods of time that you can run. It depends on your weight/height, goals, personal tolerance to them (genetics), level of experience, and other factors.
But here’s an example of a Blast and Cruise Cycle Protocol:
During this time, you’re cruising, then you go for a blast. Note that only people with experience can attempt this blasting cycle as it can be too much for beginners:
- For the first 6 weeks you start with Dianabol 50 mg/day (split into 3-4 administrations per day)
- Stacked with Deca Durabolin 400 mg/week (once or twice a week administration) for 14 weeks
- Stacked with Testosterone Enanthate 500 mg/week (twice a week) for 14 weeks.

Keep in mind this is an example among many and many others. Some people blast with only 2 steroids instead of 3. Others stack 4 or even 5 steroids together. So, don’t start another blast if you haven’t been cruising for at least 8 weeks. But it would be safer to cruise for as long as you were blasting.
But I would strongly recommend doing blood work every once in a while. Such as before every blast and right after it. This way, you would be able to find out the condition of your lipids, liver, and other organs. By doing it before a blast, you’re going to be sure you are healthy enough to start the blast and how to correctly do it. By doing it after a blast, you’ll find out what can be worked out and what suffered the most. Also, to make sure that your health (organs) were not affected too much.
Remember that with cruising – you need to inject every single week. You need to inject AT LEAST once a week, but preferably twice weekly. If you go for once-a-week administration – you better go for Testosterone Cypionate. This weekly injection protocol is never stopping for years. You need to keep high T levels constantly. If you stop, the Testosterone would drop down and you have a high risk of losing muscles alongside other low T symptoms.
Important Factors to Consider
It’s essential for you to keep your diet on point and have a good training regimen. You need a healthy lifestyle to avoid the risks as much as possible because you’re already stressing your body and organs with blasting and cruising cycle protocol. It’s only sometimes possible for younger people who were on mild blast and cruising cycle protocol for only some months. In other cases – that’s unlikely.
That’s the main reason why only professionals opt for blasting and cruising cycles. They understand that there’s no turning back and they have enough experience and knowledge on steroids.
That’s why, if you attempt blasting and cruising protocol – that’s very important to remember that you would need to run Testosterone, most likely, for your entire life. That’s why a blast and cruise cycle is extremely effective. Considered superior to Cycle and PCT. However, it’s not for everyone. I would recommend a blast and cruise only to those who already have enough experience on steroids and they know what they’re doing.
How to Come Off Blast and Cruise?
As earlier said – most likely, there’s no turning back. It’s very hard to come off blasting and cruising and many people fail to do so. If you’ve been blasting and cruising for years now and you’re over 40s – chances are extremely low you can get off. That’s because your body is unlikely to produce natural testosterone in the normal range. Plus, coming off blast and cruise you need to be prepared for losing some gains in terms of strength and muscles.
If you still want to give it a try, I would first recommend checking your levels so you would know where to start. Check your FSH, LH, Testosterone levels, estrogen, etc.
Prepare a coming off with a powerful PCT plan, which usually lasts about 8 weeks involving high doses of anti-estrogen medications.
So well, while you’re still in blast and cruise, use Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 1,000 IU every other day for 2 weeks. Stop the use of steroids and reduce the dosage of HCG to 500 IU every other day for 2 more weeks. After about 2 weeks, add Clomid AND Nolvadex. Start with Clomid like 150 mg/day for 3 days. Then reduce to 100 mg/day until the end of the second week. During this time, you continue using HCG 500 IU but only 2 times a week. Nolvadex at 40 mg/day the entire time.
Then you stop the use of HCG and reduce the dosage of Clomid to 50 mg/day. Maintain the same Nolvadex dosage. All for 2 more weeks. In the last 4 weeks, you either continue the same dosages of Nolvadex and Clomid or reduce by half dosage of one or both compounds whenever you feel it.
